Skyfall

When I first saw Skyfall I was actually really disappointed, I loved all of the practical effects and the cinematography but I just wasn't sold on the film. However, after a second watch it completely changed my mind. It might have been my expectations going in on the first viewing but once that was washed away I could enjoy it for what it was.

At first glance I wasn't sure about this movie but after a second watch I was enjoying how fun and over the top it was. I'm also a sucker for the classic gangster genre and the tunes that come along with it so it wasn't difficult to win me over.

Christmas in Cuba

I had a week off over Christmas so I went on a last minute trip to Cuba. It was an interesting trip to say the least. Cuba is definitely a unique place. It was beautiful and we met some great people but it was quite noticeable that you were in a completely different world, I suppose that's communism for ya. Anywho, enjoy some doodles from the beach!

Inktober 2013

Back in October I decided to participate in the Inktober event through Instagram. It was an awesome way to get me to just draw and not get held up too much on what I was drawing. It was also great to focus on drawing and inking on paper. I'd like to go back and spruce up a few of them but for now enjoy the ink. Disney Vegas Land

Last summer I took a trip down to Disneyland for a few days and then drove to Vegas to stay for a few days. We couldn't settle on a place so we decided to do both and it ended up being the perfect amount of time in each place. Here's some doodles from the trip, enjoy!
